The Steilacoom Kiwanis Club would like to share an opportunity for local high school students who may be interested in learning more about careers in law enforcement.
The Kiwanis Youth Law Enforcement Camp (KYLEC) is a hands-on summer camp experience where students learn directly from law enforcement professionals through demonstrations, mentorship, and team-based leadership activities. The camp is held at the Washington State Patrol Academy in Shelton and is open to students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year who are interested in exploring careers in law enforcement and public service.
Students who attend the camp gain valuable leadership experience and a better understanding of what a career in law enforcement can involve.
